John Klees

John Klees is President of John Klees Enterprise, Inc., a consulting firm he started in 1982 and located in Candler (Asheville), North Carolina. John displays a unique combination of theory and practice, tempered with reality, when he presents a seminar. With 45 years of tooling experience, John has acquired a substantial background of both a theoretical and a practical "hands-on" approach towards injection molding, injection mold design and fabrication.

Mr. Klees started in the tooling industry as an apprentice toolmaker at General Electric in The Netherlands, emigrated to North America in 1966 and has held positions as tooling draftsman, mold designer and design engineer with Douglas Aircraft in Canada, Electro Physical Instruments and Precision Instruments and Machine Works. At Crellin Plastics, an Albany International Company, Mr. Klees functioned as Manager of Technical Services. John was employed as Corporate Injection Molding Engineer and Manager, Injection Molding Operations by Leviton Manufacturing Co.

After four years of technical trade school, John Klees attended college at the "Hendrick de Keyzer M.T.S." in Amsterdam, completed a four year apprenticeship as toolmaker and passed examinations at the "Central Organization for Vocational Training in the Metal Industry" in The Hague. He holds certificates in Tool and Instrument Engineering, A.M.A. Supervisory Management, and New York University Injection Molding and Tooling for Injection Molding.

John is a senior member of the Society of Plastics Engineers, served as Technical Committee Chairman, Mold-Making and Mold Design Division and Educational Committee Chairman for the SPE Virginia-Carolina Section.

John has been instructing for New York University's School of Continuing Education, North Carolina State University Division for lifelong Education, Society of Plastics Engineers; and on behalf of the department of Plastics Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He has held many in-plant training programs. Over 7,000 people from all types of industry have attended his seminars and workshops.

John W. Bozzelli

John is a graduate of Marietta College (BS) and Ohio University (MS). Twenty years with Dow Plastics provided extensive experience in polymer synthesis, development production and processing.

He provides technical support through his own company, Injection Molding Solutions.

Competent in resin characterization and analysis, his specialty is practical, hands-on injection molding with both small and large machines. National recognition has come through 10 patents and more than 50 papers covering plastics and processing.

John Bozzelli teaches "the plastics point of view" from design through development and processing with a fervor you will long remember.

Taking the time to learn practical techniques from John will enable you to eliminate the state of "fire fighting" currently found in many operations using plastics, while improving your company's profits significantly in the long run.
